ROOT CAUSE OF SUFFERINGS

ROOT CAUSE OF SUFFERINGS

The  root cause of all our  sufferings
is due to I and MINE

The "I" ness makes you think
that you are superior
to everybody.

This thought makes you to
 behave arrogant towards others

This behaviour creates
lot of enemies. for the person
who is affected by this
dreadful decease

Even though this quality brings
some amount of success in the
initial stage but it brings
their downfall soon.

The next quality is "MINE" ness

It is also a landmine
which will explode one day
and brings disaster

If you want to live with harmony
with other beings. and also
with peace of mind the
above two qualities should be
given a send off

The both are called "EGO" which
actually exists in the mind only.

A small baby  has no ego

He/she  is always happy.
both inside its heart which
expressed in it face.

It is playful and bring joy to
everybody who comes in
contact with he/she.

We must understand this and
enjoy the life

We must not
allow our mind to
entertain EGO which is the
root cause for all our sufferings

  4. Dear Pattabi Raman,

Wonderful words of wisdom. It is the 'I' (ego) which is the root cause of all our problems. Whatever that we do, if we do it without this notion of 'I', there will be no problem, no conflict and no karma.

    Dear sir,

This reminded me of a Card I picked up in Leeds, UK in 1980.

    It reads:

    You are You, and

    I am I

If the You that is You

is Not in harmony with the

    I that is I

Then the We that is Us

will become the Them that Was or Were.

Anyway, may you one day become as wise as I !!!

Just it flashed my mind because it has got into my heart byheart and therefore sharing.

Thanks for an inspirational write up.

    Regards

    1. Dear DR

      you are you

      I am I

as long we fails to understand the real "I" in us

once we understand the truth we will come to know that we both are one
